Division Systems and Tumblers

Any space can be temporarily divided, either to create multiple flexible spaces, or to make a clear division between two independent areas. Roller tumblers are one type of division (or they can be used for cyclorama scenery cloths at the rear of a stage), but the most common types of divisions are fabric curtains on tracks, or nets in sports halls. On a larger scale, we have divided convention centres with special raise and lower sails, or aircraft hangars with heavy duty curtaining rated with 1-hour fire integrity. Also take a look at safety curtains, as their sole purpose is to separate a stage from the theatre auditorium.
